Awesome racing like in the past ! Remembered Good old days !
Also great track perfectly suited for these cars !

Quali : Did not too bad, couldnt reach my Practice times.

Race 1 : Good start, did some clean overpasses, At some point I lost grip, got hit by Yowan, still finished 5th.

Race 2 : Bad start, full throttle when I saw the Green message, but ppl seems to wait, so I slowed and got hit by someone in the back.
Still racing, got some good fights with Mike and Rich, lost control on lap 15 a little, got touch a little by Rich and lost the car.Finished brokem.

Nice track with nice drivers. Good job Yowan !! Cya next week, hope to see the South African guys !!!!

I was surprised by how well I qualified. I couldn't get a consistent lap in practice.

The first race wasn't bad but couldn't keep up.

The 2nd race I bumped (Barry King?) and wanted to wait for him to get going and fell back to last and then kept going wide at the turn after the flat out part. Whatever turn that is. :)

Results are posted.

As the season evolves, hopefully we can go back to Pro and Sportsman classes but with a season opener featuring 12 drivers, I can't justify two classes.

Congrats Dave and Yowan. I wasn't expecting tire management to be a strategy in our "sprint" races. I didn't do that well. I over-used them early in Heat 1 and left too much on the table at race end in Heat 2. Should be interesting as we get further into the season. The cars seem to provide some pretty good racing. I'd like to see the damage settings turned down a bit. It seems very easy to bend front suspension parts which makes front tire heat and wear issues even worse.

Congrats to both winners. As Jim mentioned, tire wear was a definite concern here. I had one red dot on the lf tire after both races. I had to pull back in race 1 to minimize heat but was constantly watching Rich, Eric & Yowan in the rear view.

The chat start method was a workaround but led to some problems. Not everyone took off at the same time which in turn caused some passing and blocking that we didn't see with proper green starts. I veered to the left to pass and misjudged distances and tapped Rich's front end sending both of us off. Sorry Rich.

Not my favourite track but still good to race at. I just couldn't find the right setup for here. Hopefully next venue will be better.

Congrats to Dave and Yowan on your wind and to the rest of the podium as well.

Race 1 - 1st lap, 3rd or 4th corners curbing upset it enough to start mowing grass and had a full on collision with the Michelin man. Instantly killed the motor. Race over. Race 2 - had pole, by the 2nd lap was roughed up a bit by Yowan to get by, Brandon was glued to him as well. Anyway, like we were real threats for the win. Tires were going off pretty badly but didn't wind up last so I'll take what I got. Will see what Oulton brings. Good Luck fellas :D

I'd have to say this track could certainly become a fav of mine, tons of character cool corners with bumps, aside from
flipping AI and non working pace car, awesome track 8-)

Race 1 i was able to get to T1 first ahead of Tom but the race never got to play itself out due to his contact with the tires, i could
see it had caused a little backup and allowed me to gap while the battle for 2nd raged on.

Race 2, great fun working through the field, again with some attrition helping gain some spots, lucky to
manage 2nd place only due to KJ running super low on fuel, half throttling his way to the finish line on fumes :o allowing me to get by.

Congrats to the winners and podium finishers. Very tricky track.

Still way off pace with these cars so qualified towards the back of the pack.

Race one: Was able to move up some in the first laps and ended up chasing Tom. Until braking for the hard right after the back straight, car suddenly shot to the right over the grass sliding out of control came across the track after corner exit where I collected Tom and we went into the tire barrier. Sorry Tom. I came into pit for a 4 minute repair.

Race two: Started 2nd on grid Pat on pole, we took off and managed to get out ahead. Lap two got roughed up going through last chicane. From there just kept my pace and made it back up to second untill the last lap or so I was going to run out of fuel and had to back way off letting Hutty get by. I don't know why that happened, I usually run a little heavy on fuel. :?

Hopefully I can find some pace with these cars, not fun to be so noncompetitive.
