I'm done with new drivers dropping in 15 minutes before qualifying without Teamspeak.

I've been vowing to lock the server for a few weeks now but it was too tempting seeing over 40 drivers post times with something like 28 under the 107% cutoff so I left it open again. The two new drivers today were a nice boost to what would have been a 10 driver grid but their presence didn't improve the racing and was just one more thing for me to deal with when I hadn't done a lap all week.

I'm going to try locking the server all week to force those who want to race with us to spend a little bit of effort to acquire the password.

IF YOU DON"T HAVE THE PASSWORD you can request it a number of ways:

Congrats to the Winners and podium finishers. This is a very fast track but highly technical where mistakes can be disastrous.

I couldn't equal my best time when it was Qualy time and every lap I did had something happen to land me in 5th spot on the grid.

Race one just dug in and wound up 4th at the end with the top 3 out in front of me but still in sight most of the time.

Race two was interesting in turn one at the start. Brandon just ahead of me to my left got loose under braking and his car pitched the nose in front of me leaving me no room.I deflected off him sending me off track, gathering myself back up getting back on track more cars were tangled up to my left. I came back on in 3rd or 4th( Don't remember). I was able to pass to get upto 2nd spot. By this time Pat had pulled a nice lead having avoided the carnage behind. As I was concentrating on gaining back some time on him I had Hutty looming in my mirrors and was sure he'd be passing me quickly, but to my surprise after a bit I actually started to pull a gap on him. I was able to get to 2 seconds from Pat but that was it and where we finished.

Apologies to Timothy Barron for an incident in race 2, lap 2 near the finish line. I went to pass him on the right as I was unsure which side to go. Bad choice as he went right also. We both hit the wall & had severe damage, at least on my end it was bad. I wasn't sure if I was next to him when it happened but watching the replay, I wasn't up enough on him to attempt the pass.

I'll take the penalty or whatever penance I must follow. Again apologies Timothy.

As for the races, this track was a bitch to race. Why couldn't they fix that damn bump coming down the hill before the run to the finish line?

Congrats To Dave and Pat on their respective wins.

Thanks, Mike.

That'll be a one position penalty.

The rule is a time penalty based on the difference between the fast lap of the race vs the victim's lap time on the lap in question or at least one position.

I'm not ready to post the Round 6 discussion so heads up here.

I changed the track to the "Endurance" layout to force Liveracers to reset. I want data on drivers with the password.

I assume that it is the same except for signage and/or maybe curbing. I'll test tonight. If somehow there is a drawback or appreciable difference with the versions, I'll change it back.

I'll probably also get back to the "Mod Mondays" theme with the Peugeot 207Rs at Misano for some track testing.

I looked at the Race 2 Lap 1 Turn 1 incident that I was involved in.

I was keying off of Eric Richard to set my spacing and braking. The track was clear ahead of him until Brandon got squirrely under braking which made Eric brake extra to avoid Brandon which I didn't leave room for. Sucks, started the dominoes falling on another shitty race for me, closer to racing incident than my fault but I'll take the blame because in the end I spun Eric.

I DNF'ed but finished P10 / 11 so I'll ring myself up for the one position penalty to P11. Need to be more careful at T1 gentlemen, especially in Race 2.

That is total Bullshit!

I will not be blamed for that. Tom and KJ were CLEARLY behind me and Eric at the T1 (turn 1 where everyone is supposed to be extra cautious) braking zone. KJ hit me in the rear, not my nose as he suggests. Tom hit Eric in the rear. You should both expect that me and Eric were going to check up extra hard being side by side approaching turn in for a chicane. You were both impatient and had no legitimate right to any room (as KJ suggested) per Efnet rules.

My skidding under braking on cold tires making sure I left enough room for Eric, doesn't change that. Eric braking more doesn't change that. I figured he would brake earlier being on the inside, but he hung right beside me, so I adjusted. Nice job Eric! The bump from KJ (which is what really sent him off) would have fine as I still managed to turn in, but Tom hitting Eric caused him to shoot my way taking me out. But that's all my fault in the admins' eyes. Baffling!

Have fun guys, my limit is reached.

Congrats to the winners and podium finishers

Race 1 blew the motor due to the extra downshift on lap 2 and won race 2. Had fun and did not have a chance to mess anyone's race up. See you all Sunday. Cheers

I'm not blaming anyone but me. If quickly describing what I saw in the replay is blaming, you have been hanging out with too many Millennials

"I was keying off of Eric Richard to set my spacing and braking. The track was clear ahead of him until Brandon got squirrely under braking which made Eric brake extra to avoid Brandon which I didn't leave room for."

You have every right to get squirrelly under braking and I blamed and penalized myself...

I went back to look at the race two turn one replay again from all angles and cars involved. I take back my original quick assessment, I did not hit Brandon's nose and did tap him in his right rear corner. But only after he had already gotten squirrely under braking on his own and his car was at a angle towards my path, not the turn. I was heading towards the outside edge of the corner to avoid contact, but our contact affected me going off track and straightened Brandon out to make the corner and he would have been fine from there. Tom tapping Eric caused Eric to shoot forward into Brandon as he was starting his turn into the corner causing him to spin around and then the rest that happened.
