The Pro class enters the final round for the 5th straight year with the Trans Am champion yet to be decided. The throwaways complicate projections but it's Kohler AMC Javelin driver Dave Hutton versus Red Bull '68 Chevrolet Penske Camaro and Pat Sweeney. It would be Hutton's first Trans Am title or Sweeney's second.

Canadian Eric Richard in another AMC Javelin has a commanding and likely unassailable lead in the Sporstman standings but mathematically Robert Lemon could pull a miracle with his Ford Mustang and steal the title.
