We are combining the GTC cars from the 2017 ("GTC-2") and 2018 ("GTC-4") seasons to create the largest selection of cars we've had for a championship in many years, if not ever.
All of the cars shall remain as they were for their respective past season championships with no further attempts at competition balancing.
We have qualifying results from four tracks (Valencia, Motorland Aragon, Road America and Brno) that indicate excellent parity.
As always, picking your favorite car early and mastering it will pay larger dividends of both enjoyment and finishing position than endless testing up to the weekend of the first race.

Grrrrrr, I forgot about deciding by the end of the year. My lawyer thinks I have till 23:59 in the last time zone to roll into 2019 to commit but the silver spoon fed motherfucker doesn't know what that means in Pacific Time.

I'm still contemplating. So far I don't see any Porches or Alpines. Might be one of those. I've tried the 914, and it seems a little prone to oversteer. All three of them get off the line pretty well. I'm open to suggestions and setup help.

Against my better judgement I'll give the Alpine A310 a try. Next Sundays test I guess will determine if a change back to the BMW.

KJ knows this but as a reminder to everyone else, you are locked into whichever car you qualify with at Round 1 except that you can change cars one time before the third race of the season.

Now that my wheel is working properly I had a blast testing every car. Wish I had the right touch to race the Porsche 914 but looks like the Ford Capri 2600RS is the right fit for me. Ford Capri 2600RS #707 (Bazooka Bubble Gum) Thanks!

The 914 has some real strengths, but it can turn around and bite pretty quick too. I like it, but still not sure if it's the right one for my driving pleasure. I've tried the Beemers and Capri and would like to learn something new. Not sure if the Alpine or 911 would suit me any better than the 914. Maybe there's a Ford in my future?

Having done a few cursory laps with default setups, I like the feel of the 911 the best, so I am going with that.

I'll be sticking with the Alpine A310 for the season, finally getting a little more of a handle on it. I'm always off pace by a second or two in this class anyways with any car. I'll post a skin this week.

It has been decided that anyone may switch cars for the remainder of the season but the change must be made for the next race (Round 10 Balcarce).
The official rule will now be that anyone may change cars once prior to the 8th round of a 15 round season.

Is the datsun a valid car for someone with a ton of rust to drive? Seems about the only car I've been able to figure out how to keep from swapping ends so far lol. So much rust on me

Hi, Mike.
You can drive any of the cars listed for this series but I'll be happy to share my setup if I see you online. I'm guaranteed to be on at 16:30 PDT on Sunday but I'll look out for you on Fri and Sat night.
Don't worry about registering just show up on Sunday, official practice starts at 16:30 California time with qualifying at 18:30.
