The Subaru is rear drive (!) in case you are not up for the challenge of learning FWD.
There are at least two tire choices (soft and medium)
The default sets are very driveable but you need the tallest gear for Watkins Glen or the taller gear upgrade in Tuning.

This series is my sensible first pick. Fun to drive. Like the handling. FWD for a change. Not too much horse power to get me into trouble.

Reminder that with rF2 you need not leave the server to change cars.
On of the in-game screens there is a "select car" button near the bottom.

I think this series would provide the closest racing. It will take some serious set-up work to get the most of of these cars. Lots of variety in car selection. I think this is my pick for a first official series.

Drove these cars last night with Hutty, Tom and Pat. These cars are great and I vote these to be our first series. This will make it easier for everyone to work more on PC settings and racecraft with RF2 then just trying to keep the car on the track.
I disagree with Cam in that they drive great with default setups and minor tweaking helps. We suspect the FWD cars are actually the same underneath, I used my Vauxal set up for all of them and they felt the same. We were able to race very close and even with some slight tapping the cars do not go spinning of track

A fairly mature mod. I raced in a league with these a few years ago. Lots of cars to pick from and the RWD option is nice. Easy to drive, probably a good mod for a series.
