I meant to mention earlier that these cars are functionally identical so simply pick your favorite car.

The Pros always share set ups with the Sportsmen but I expect that everyone will be helping each other.

I have a set that is perfectly driveable for me but I don't know if it is quick yet, will post it after I refine it some more.

VERY IMPORTANT

With the move to rF2 we are tightening up the legal racing surface slightly to be more in line with the most liberal real world automobile racing track limits.

At least two tires must be in contact with the racing surface, painted curbs count as racing surface as always BUT two tires may NEVER be off pavement (dirt, grass, sand, gravel, etc).

Paved runout areas will be handled on a track by track basis but never more liberal than above.

Chicanes will be handled on a track by track basis but will more than likely be more stringent with a minimum of two tires completely on asphalt.

Exceeding the track limits during qualifying and races will be penalized with very low tolerance for repeat offenders.

At tracks that invite abuse of the track limits, the problematic corner(s) will be randomly (which laps) scrutinized on 1/2 of the laps. All drivers who are observed to be non-compliant more than once will be penalized a fixed amount of time per illegal lap beyond the freebie. The laps to be reviewed shall be determined by a fixed method that renders the lap numbers impossible to predict ahead of the race but obvious to everyone after the race. I propose that last two digits of the race winner's lap times be used. If his numbers don't work then work our way down the finishing order until we have enough conforming numbers.

If you run off the track you must re-enter safely without hindering other drivers. Gaining an advantage is subject to protest and penalty, retaining your place in the running order by hindering others with your unsafe re-entry is subject to penalty; if you've run off, you've given up your right to the preferred racing line.

I spent at least a couple of hours on laps and setup (more laps than setup).

Unless I can find more mechanical grip, it seems that maximum front and rear spoilers will be the way to go for most of the Sportsmen. I think that max rear spoiler causes aero push (understeer) but the car is much more controllable. I am going to stop tweaking so I'm sticking with 10 front and 75 rear. I couldn't get into the 1:50s with 5 / 65 and was only 2-4 mph faster top speed IIRC.

The front end seems to need a lot of negative camber. Dave was getting extreme temps on the outer third of his left front tire with something less than 3 degrees of negative camber.

I dialed in the maximum caster and -4.1 degrees of camber. I don't remember exactly but that got the temps pretty close to even across the tire, can't remember if the inside or the outside was slightly hotter.

FWIW, I've attached my setup which should transfer to all of the cars because they are mechanically identical.

Thanks for posting that setup. It improved my lap time. I am also getting very hot left front tire temps, but that's probably because I drive like an asshat.

Not necessarily, Jonathan.

Very understeery cars.

I've tried driving less aggressively so no feeling of pushing but then it's just slow.

The tire temps are horrifying at times but check the grip vs temp graph at the top for some reassurance.

The tires seem like they're melting off the rims, but respond pretty well to power on corner exit. Thanks for the setup. I'll take a look.

Make sure you grab the setup that I posted in this thread, you'll need a head start.
