I do not know how to navigate the last 2 corners, but manage to get through.
Always liked this track, and enjoy lapping it.

I had the odd off, but they were early in the races, so I had time to correct my mistakes.

It was a sad day, being the last official race with rFactor. I will miss some of the cars.

Really sorry I couldn't make the last race of the season and the last RF1 race after being here for 10 years. The way this season has gone for me it probably would have been another frustrating race, but I like to finish what I start.

Looking forward to the future. :D

Sebring has been good to me over the years. I think I've had my most and most memorable wins at this track. I was kind of sorry to miss the last rFactor race at a track I enjoy. I look forward to moving on, however. I want to see what rF2 has in store. See you soon, guys.

Final results are posted.

Despite dreary participation that fell to a core group of Pro and Sportsman drivers making for a sad end to ESR's 11+ year run with rFactor and 7 seasons of Trans Am, we still managed to produce a few firsts before closing the record books on an era.

Rich Minkler is our first and only two-time Trans Am Pro champion.

Barry King wins his only Trans Am Sportsman title and graces the Ford Mustang Boss 302 with its only Trans Am championship.

Barry King edges out Tim Porter by 4 points for the closest Trans Am Championship points margin.

Lap records fell at Sonoma, Watkins Glen and Sebring.

A heartfelt thank you to all who hung in there, reverence to those who laid the foundation and an optimistic look ahead to an even brighter era with rFactor 2 and the emergence of sim racing as a mainstream activity.

Congratulations, Barry and Tim. Congratulations, Rich. Sorry I couldn't have joined you for more.

I must say I learned a lot about racing rF1 with ESR. Thanks for the lessons. Hopefully I can translate some of them over to rF2. rF1 is dead. Long live rF2!

Congrats to Rich and Barry! Job well done :D

Actually sad to see rF1 go. I've been on it from nearly the beggining but long live our fellow racers and what lies ahead in moving on to rF2. So far it's a major challenge for me. Just hoping for steady progression. Good bye rF1, I'll cherish the memories.

So should we consider hosting a couple rF1 HistorX races/fun events each year, just for old time's sake?
