Congrats to our winners and podium finishers! Love this place. Saw Brandon's low 41's and thought not a chance but followed Kevin around in practice and the ole' shoe was feeling better. Felt competitive since the last two events and had more fun trying to keep Kevin at bay. Brandon on the other hand was dominating as usual.

Big apologies go out to ruining Rich's 2nd race. Overeager to stay close and his braking earlier than me led to a kiss of misfortune. The slighest offest nic put him into a spin of which I felt horrible about since I know he would of a good chance winning that one.

Well, other than that, enjoyed myself and bummed about Tom not being able to make it. Hoping he and his family are safe.

Good luck fellas and see you all next week. Cheers :D

Had a good go. I spent most of it alone, but sometimes I just like driving the Cuda 'round the place. It sings to me. Lullabies.
Eric was quite fast. He kept sliding off though, only reason I was ahead of him in race 2.

See you next week.

Congratulations to Brandon. Domination is the word. It turned out to be a good evening for me as well. I'm hoping Tom and his and their abodes are OK. Turn out was kind of small so spending time alone on track was easier than I'd hoped. Heat 1 was fairly straight forward for me, except for a couple spins that kept Eric's hopes up. Heat 2 was more interesting than I'd prefer. I overcooked into T1 after a messy pace lap and fortunately missed everyone except Eric who was dealing with the aftermath of a previous contact. I knew I was losing time in the last couple esses of the lap. Rich pointed it out to me when he caught up with me on the penultimate lap. He was probably more surprised than I was, and didn't recover in time to make a pass stick. Fun racing.

Congrats to the winners and podium finishers.

First off hope all is well with Tom and family. Second if you were not happy with something in the races or the way it was ran, sorry I was doing the best I could. I was handicapped by no mumble working for us, I'm not a good quick typist and I couldn't change any of the settings on the server (Damage, pace car, ect.) About half way through the first race it hit me that I should have added another lap on and forgot to for the second one too.

I like this track and was competitive here, had nothing for Brandon in either race. In one of the races maybe 2nd one I got to him after he passed me but a few mistakes and he was gone. Race one seen Rich coming up to me but was able to hold him off.

Hopefully next week we are back to normal.

Had a great battle with Jim in race one for the first several laps; really fun. Once I broke free, it got kind of lonely. Race two, I had to check up for Jim at the start, so I fell to the back straight away. I surprised myself by doing some high 1:41s. I kept up with the lead battle for a while, but they gradually pulled away. Exciting stuff! See you next week. 8-)

Utility electricity and internet are back for the moment.

I made a quick solution that enabled me to power our house with my Honda EU2000i 125V 2000W generator within an hour of the power shutdown and installed a better and more permanent solution yesterday so we could use anything except for the oven, toaster and toaster oven thanks to the temp power and gas cooktop and clothes dryer so long as we kept the load under the generator's output.

Generator fuel was a concern for a minute but I should be able to refill my 5 gallon jug now. I intend to order another one ASAP but California made that difficult, too, several years ago with these ridiculous "spill proof" mechanisms that are intended to reduce hydrocarbons making it into the air but in practice you are just about guaranteed to spill gasoline whereas I basically never do with the the square footprint race jugs that are effectively illegal in California for holding fuel. Last time I bought, they were marketed as "utility jugs" or something like that.

My cell phone lost the forum password and the password reset didn't do anything for me so the best I could do was post on Facebook.
I'll try to fix that situation while I can when I get a better chance.

It looks like you did standing start grid with manual rolling starts and Brandon dropped to the back for Race 2 after a grid error. I'll fix the server immediately, need the next track.

I think that we're going to lose power and internet again soon, too early to forecast Sunday but if I can be there I will be.

There is definitely fire risk were I live but more from humans than power lines, so I'm more prepared than I am worried.
